Leopards in the Masai Mara National Reserve are among the most elusive yet iconic predators of the African savannah. After searching for a Leopard for 3 days, we spotted this one on a fallen tree next to a small village at the outskirts of a private reserve close to Masai Mara. They make extensive use of trees, not only for resting during the day but also for hoisting kills out of reach of lions and hyenas.
