Cheetah in masai mara scouting for hunt

Cheetah, Masai Mara

LIFE

Unlike lions or leopards, cheetahs are mainly active during the day, especially in the early morning and late afternoon. We spotted this mid morning scouting for a hunt. They use small termite mounds or other vantage points to scan for prey or threats and we spotted this one using a rock to perch itself up.
